In light of the interest of the state and the presidential directives to preserve the interests of Egypt’s residents from foreign nationals and secure a decent life, it was observed that a foreign resident exploited the political conditions that prompted his community to reside in Egypt and the need of their children to pursue their education and established an educational center without the necessary licenses from the Ministry of Higher Education. He falsely claimed that the center had a license from a renowned foreign university and granted undergraduate and graduate degrees studies for fees of about 3000 dollars.

Presented to the Attorney General, he ordered the seizure and search of the accused, where documents supporting the investigations were found. The investigations were completed; the accused was referred to the competent court and was sentenced to two years in prison.

The Administrative Control Authority calls upon citizens and residents not to deal with any educational entities without ensuring that they are accredited and licensed by the competent state authorities.
