The Administrative Control Authority recognizes that the fight against corruption and its prevention will not take root without fostering the active participation of educational and research institutions and enhancing the role of sports institutions in spreading the values of integrity and transparency.

In light of this, and on the sidelines of the Administrative Control Authority’s launching of the third phase of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (NACS) 2022-2030, H.E. Minister Amr Adel, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, signed two cooperation agreements with H.E. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports; and Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support joint cooperation and bolster bilateral efforts in issues relevant to the ACA.

The agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research shall leverage human capital and other resources at local universities and think tanks. This comes in accordance with Egypt’s strategy to enhance the role of scientific research in the decision-making process for topics within the ACA’s range of competencies

Along the lines of the ACA’s and the Egyptian Anti-Corruption Academy’s keenness on spreading awareness of the hazards of corruption and building capacities across various sectors, the agreement signed with the Ministry of Youth and Sports propels forward the ACA’s mission in enhancing capacities within the Ministry’s workforce and its affiliates. These endeavors push the goal of spreading the values of integrity, transparency, governance, and fighting corruption among the youth in different governorates.
