The Administrative Control Authority participates in the 54th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair, held under the theme "In the name of Egypt ... ". The ACA's participation in the Book Fair complies with its assigned awareness-raising role about the risks of corruption and urging citizens to take part in the efforts made to prevent and combat corruption. This is in addition to the efforts made to entrench the values of integrity and transparency. The Fair represents a good opportunity to reach out to as many different segments of citizens and visitors as possible; and an opportunity to review Egypt’s efforts in this file.
The ACA’s pavilion will display its activities in preventing and combating corruption, as well as raise awareness of the efforts made to support investment and export development; introduce the Egyptian Competencies Bank and means of communication; Egypt’s information infrastructure project, in addition to the media campaigns launched by the Authority to raise awareness of the risks of corruption. The activities included review of international cooperation efforts in preventing and combating corruption and make available some publications on local and international anti-corruption activities to those interested.
The pavilion will also include a presentation of the activities of the National Anti-Corruption Academy and its academic and training programs and an explanation of how to register. This is in addition to providing printed copies of some scientific theses and research related to the ACA's field of work, with the availability of issues of "Damir El Watan” (Conscience of the Nation) magazine issued by the Academy's Research Center.
In Compliance with the theme of the Administrative Control Authority “Partners in Protecting the Interests of the Nation”, the ACA’s pavilion at the Book Fair conducts an opinion poll for attendees to survey their opinion on efforts to prevent and combat corruption and to review their suggestions to maximize the anti-corruption strategy.
