Minister Amr Adel, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, received Mr. Fu Kui, Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Vice Chairman of the National Supervisory Commission of China, and his accompanying delegation, at ACA’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. This visit comes as an extension of the strong historical relations between the two countries in various fields. It also aims to enhance international efforts meant to exchange experience and information in preventing and combating corruption between the corresponding supervisory bodies. 

During the meeting, Minister Amr Adel referred to the profound historical relations between the two countries, appreciating the efforts of the People's Republic of China in the field of preventing and combating corruption. He further stressed that preventing corruption has become an urgent necessity to complete the development process amid the world’s current political developments and challenges.

 The meeting also included a presentation on the development of the role of the Administrative Control Authority over the past years to counter various forms of corruption crimes, as well as ACA’s role through cooperation with the different units of the administrative apparatus to improve the services provided to citizens, improve the investment climate, support the private sector and investors, resolve their problems, study the obstacles they face and promptly seek to avoid. Egypt’s information infrastructure project and its role in linking and integrating national databases to support digital transformation and decision-making was also highlighted. In addition, the role of the National Anti-Corruption Academy in qualifying and training national and international cadres in the field of preventing and combating corruption was reviewed. 

Meanwhile, the Chinese delegation reviewed the efforts of the People's Republic of China in preventing and combating corruption, expressing its aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries on issues of common interest and exchange experts and experience through a strategic partnership between the National Anti-Corruption Academy of the Administrative Control Authority and its Chinese counterpart, the National Supervisory Commission in China.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding to promote cooperation and exchange experience in the field of preventing and combating corruption, identify best practices, and achieve integration in terms of capacity building in related issues. This also entails holding joint training courses on topics of common interest, based on the importance of unifying international visions on preventing and combating corruption to ensure the preservation of national capacities.
