Today, at the headquarters of the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) in the New Administrative Capital, H.E. Minister Amr Adel, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority (ACA), witnessed the graduation ceremony of 38 of the members of judicial agencies and authorities in batches (4) and (5) of the Governance and Anti-Corruption Diploma, held at the National Anti-Corruption Academy. The graduation ceremony was in the presence of Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Counselor Adnan Fangari, Minister of Justice, Dr. Mahmoud Said, Vice President of Cairo University, Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, and an array of high-level officials and members of the Administrative Control Authority and judicial agencies.
During the ceremony, the ministers emphasized the importance of training cadres working in the field of governance, preventing and combating corruption through knowledge and science in order to build and advance the nation and protect the rights of its citizens. This is within the framework of strengthening governance mechanisms that contribute to building trust in government institutions; improving the efficiency of public administration and providing services to citizens; supporting the strategic objectives of Egypt's Vision 2030 and promoting sustainable economic growth. They also commended the pivotal role played by the Administrative Control Authority in developing the skills and capabilities of various cadres through the National Anti-Corruption Academy.
This ceremony comes as a culmination of the fruitful cooperation between the Administrative Control Authority, the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and the Ministry of Justice, to qualify members of judicial agencies and authorities in the fields of governance, preventing and combating corruption through the academic program provided by the National Academy. This is meant to develop the skills and knowledge related to the areas of the legislative and institutional framework for combating corruption, economic policies, strategic management, and management of anti-corruption information systems.
