Minister Amr Adel, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, received Mr. Abdullah Qader Bouh, Chairman of the Libya’s Administrative Control Authority, at the ACA headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. This meeting comes as an extension of Egypt-Libya relations with respect to preventing and combating corruption. The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding to exchange experience, training, and capacity building in the fields of governance. This includes training of 2,000 learners in the fields of anti-corruption frameworks, financial investigations and asset recovery, cyber-security and electronic crime, development of anti-corruption strategies, the role of the media in combating corruption, institutional development, and administrative investigation skills.

During the meeting, Minister Amr Adel stressed the depth of the good relations between the two countries at various levels. He also reviewed the Authority’s role in preventing corruption and strengthening governance. This is in addition to the efforts and activities of the National Anti-Corruption Academy in qualifying local and international cadres through its specialized training programs and the offered academic degrees.

Meanwhile, Mr. Abdullah Qader Bouh expressed his appreciation to the ACA for its efforts in training many Libyan cadres during the previous period. He commended the level of scientific qualification and diverse experiences that the learners acquired in related fields.
