The Administrative Control Authority is always keen to support constructive cooperation with civil society organizations (CSOs) as it believes in their pivotal role as a key partner in development efforts and in preventing and combating corruption in society. Accordingly, the National Anti-Corruption Academy organized a training program for 26 of the leaderships and cadres of the General Federation of Associations and NGOs during the period from August 11 to 13.
The program included numerous topics in the field of governance and corruption prevention through the introduction of the legislative and institutional framework for combating corruption in Egypt and the role of the Administrative Control Authority in preventing and combating corruption. It further reviewed Egypt's information infrastructure project and Egypt's Vision 2030, with a focus on the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC).
This comes in the context of achieving the fourth goal of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2023-2030, "A society conscious of the risks of corruption and capable of combating it". This confirms that efforts to prevent and combat corruption require partnership between all state agencies and civil society to achieve sustainable development.
