As part of the meetings held on the sidelines of the fifth session of the Conference of States Parties to the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention (AACC) at the headquarters of the Secretariat General of the League of Arab States during the period from 5 to 7 May 2024, Minister Amr Adel, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, and Minister Raed Radwan, head of the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the fields of preventing and combating corruption, as well as exchanging experiences and experts and capacity building.

 

The meeting shed light on the Administrative Control Authority’s integral, fast-growing role in preventing and combating corruption. This, alongside reviewing the role of the ACA-affiliated academy, the Egyptian Anti-Corruption Academy (EACA) and its specialized programs in qualifying national and international capacities in the field of governance and preventing and combating corruption. For its part, the Palestinian delegation presented the mandate of the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission and its role in spreading the values of integrity and transparency and preventing and combating corruption.
