Congratulations to Egypt for hosting the Ninth Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption in Sharm El Sheikh this week!

During the conference, H.E. Jonathan Cohen, the U.S. Ambassador to Cairo met with Cairo University students, the future leaders of the fight against corruption, with the support of the USAID-funded Egypt Economic Governance for Development Project.

Leslie Reed, USAID Mission Director, joined one of the sessions organized by the Administrative Control Authority on the sidelines of the conference, where Egypt’s strides in preventing and combating corruption and the progress made in implementing the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2019-2022 was showcased.

The US government is proud to support the Egyptian Government's anti-corruption efforts through our partnership with the Administrative Control Authority.
