The National Coordinating Subcommittee on Prevention and Combating Corruption organized a special session entitled "National Anti-Corruption Strategy: Best Practices and Challenges” The special session came in the presence of Minister Hassan Abdel Shafi Ahmed, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority and President of the 9th Session of the Conference of States Parties, Counselor Ahmed Saeed Khalil, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of  the Egyptian Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Combating Unit (EMLCU), and many Egyptian and international officials. The meeting aimed to explain the Egyptian state's commitment to implementing the provisions of the United Nations Convention against Corruption by adopting a number of different institutional and legislative frameworks, in accordance with article no. 5 of the Convention on the development and consolidation of effective and coordinated preventative anti-corruption policies. The National Anti-Corruption Strategy represents the general framework for combating corruption in Egypt.

The session, attended by some members of the technical secretariat of the National Coordination Committee, representatives of the Administrative Control Authority, the Ministry of Justice, and the President of the General Federation of Associations and Non-Governmental Institutions, underscored Egypt’s experience in preventing and combating corruption and the progress made in the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2019-2022. The progress made in nine of the Strategy’s objectives was also discussed, for such practices are replicable in any country.
 
Directed by Ahmed Nour, Deputy Head of the Administrative Control Authority, the session witnessed the presentation by some members of the technical secretariat of the National Coordination Committee, unfolding the Strategy’s work plan  and pinpointing the goals achieved as per the following 9 objectives: "develop efficient administrative apparatus; provide high-quality public services, activate transparency and integrity mechanisms; develop the legislative structure that supports anti-corruption efforts; modernize judicial procedures to achieve prompt justice, support law enforcement agencies to prevent and combat corruption; Increase societal awareness of the importance of preventing and combating corruption; and activate international and regional cooperation in preventing corruption."
 
The Administrative Control Authority's efforts to prepare a national Corruption Perceptions Index and launch community-based awareness campaigns on the dangers of corruption were presented, with the latest campaign “Integrity Wins” screened in conference halls. 
Dr. Talaat Abdel Qawi, the head of the General Union of Non-Governmental Associations and Institutions, presented highlights of practices achieved under Goal 9 concerned with engaging civil society organizations and the private sector in preventing and preventing corruption.
