Mr. Khalid Abdul Rahman, Deputy head of the Administrative Control Authority for the affairs of the National Anti Corruption Academy and Judge Alaa Jawad, Head of the Iraqi Commission of Integrity (COI), met today on the sidelines of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption in Sharm El Sheikh,
The meeting touched on future cooperation between the two sides in preventing and combating corruption; raising awareness of the hazards of corruption; exchanging anti-corruption knowledge and expertise; and promoting training in the fields of common interest.
The two sides discussed furthering bilateral cooperation between the Administrative Control Authority and the Commission of Integrity, especially in the areas of asset recovery, international cooperation, and the academic Master’s degree in governance and anti-corruption offered by the National Anti-Corruption Academy.
