H.E. Minister Hassan Abdel Shafi Ahmed, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, and Nasser bin Hilal al-Maouli, Chairman of Oman’s Financial and Administrative Control Authority, met today on the sidelines of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption in Sharm El Sheikh.
The meeting touched on future cooperation between the two sides in issues of common interest, such as preventing and combating corruption; raising awareness of the hazards of corruption; and exchanging anti-corruption knowledge and expertise. In addition, Abdel Shafi and al-Maoouli discussed leveraging capacities at the National Anti- Corruption Academy (NACA) and coordinating with the Authority’s Central Investment Support Department to promote Omani investments.
