Minister Hassan Abdel Shafi Ahmed, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, met virtually with Mr. Angelos Binis, Governor of the Hellenic National Transparency Authority to discuss prospects of bilateral cooperation. This comes as a part of the series of meetings on the sidelines of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The meeting touched on future cooperation between the two sides in issues of common interest, such as preventing and combating corruption; raising awareness of the hazards of corruption; and sharing anti-corruption knowledge and expertise. Moreover, the two sides agreed on signing a memorandum of understanding between the Administrative Control Authority in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Hellenic National Transparency Authority in the coming period.
