The Administrative Control Authority participates in the 55th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair, held under the theme "We create knowledge... We preserve the word". The ACA's participation in the Book Fair complies with its assigned awareness-raising role about the risks of corruption and urging citizens to take part in the efforts made to prevent and combat corruption. This is in addition to the efforts made to entrench the values of integrity and transparency. The pavilion represents a vital platform for the visitors as it provides specialized awareness presentations that use state-of-the-art visual, interactive and educational materials that simplify the concepts of integrity and transparency. They also document Egypt's efforts to combat corruption, and achieve transparency, and illustrates the positive impact of integrity on society and development.
The pavilion also includes a presentation of the activities of the National Anti-Corruption Academy and its academic and training programs and an explanation of how to register. This is in addition to providing printed copies of some scientific theses and research related to the ACA's field of work, with the availability of issues of "Damir El Watan”(Conscience of the Nation) magazine issued by the Academy's Research Center.
The ACA perceives that direct communication is the most successful tool to exchange ideas, learn about different points of view, and motivate individuals towards a deeper understanding of issues and challenges. Hence, the ACA’s pavilion organizes two seminars and interactive lectures with the participation of experts and academics in the fields of governance and anti-corruption. This is a critical opportunity for the book fair visitors to interact with experts and specialists on integrity issues to enhance effective participation in developing solutions to corruption problems.
In Compliance with the theme of the Administrative Control Authority “Partners in Protecting the Interests of the Nation”, the ACA’s pavilion at the Book Fair conducts an opinion poll for attendees to survey their opinion on efforts to prevent and combat corruption and to review their suggestions to maximize the anti-corruption strategy.
