As part of the Administrative Control Authority's keenness to promote partnership and cooperation with international institutions to exchange experience in terms of dissemination of the values of integrity and transparency among all segments of society, the Egyptian Anti-Corruption Academy (EACA) hosted a training program on "Integrity and Anti-Corruption" in its premises in Cairo from 24 to 27 February in cooperation with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Egypt and the Hague Academy for Local Governance.
An array of law enforcement cadres and civil society representatives in Egypt participated in the program. This training program provided several lectures and workshops on the concepts and mechanisms of integrity, and strategies to promote integrity and combat corruption. It also provided a review of the Dutch integrity system and methodology for corruption risk assessment as well as offering some insights and ideas to improve the mechanisms for promoting integrity, transparency and combating corruption in different societies.
The program aims to provide participants with the tools needed to apply the concepts of integrity and transparency and to draw on various international experiences in support of the development of working procedures and efforts to prevent and combat corruption.
