Authority, received the delegation of the Office of Government Inspectorate of Vietnam, headed by Mr. Duong Quoc Huy, Deputy Chief of the Office, at the headquarters of the Authority in the New Administrative Capital (NAC). The visit comes in light of the Administrative Control Authority’s efforts to enhance the exchange of experiences and knowledge in the fields of preventing and combating corruption with counterpart agencies regionally and internationally.

 

The meeting tackled the mandates of both the ACA and the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate in relevant anti-corruption efforts, as well as reviewing the Egyptian experience in promoting the values of integrity and transparency guided by the frameworks of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (NACS) across its three phases. In addition, the meeting highlighted the role of the Egyptian Anti-Corruption Academy (EACA), ACA’s academic reservoir, in providing specialized academic and training programs in the field of preventing and combating corruption for members of the ACA and counterpart agencies, especially as the Vietnamese side seeks to duplicate the EACA’s in establishing a Vietnamese academy in the areas of training on activities to disseminate the values of integrity, transparency, governance, and preventing and combating corruption.
