The launching ceremony of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2023-2030 witnessed the congregation of senior officials from the judicial, executive, and administrative bodies of the Arab Republic of Egypt for a panel discussion on the NACS’ Five main objectives.

 

Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh, President of the Central Agency for Organization & Administration in Egypt (CAOA ), took part in reviewing the first objective: “​​Effective and Efficient Government Entities Capable of Providing Quality Services to Citizens and Investors.”Counselor Ahmed Al-Daba, Counselor at the office of the Minister of Justice, participated in the discussion on the second objective related to promoting a “Legislative and Judicial Structure Supportive of Anti-Corruption Efforts and Capable of Achieving Prompt Justice.” In addition, Mr. Amr Farouk, Head of the Technical Office of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Unit,  delved into the third objective: “Agencies Capable of Combatting Corruption and Law Enforcement.”  Towards empowering the youth and enhancing anti-corruption awareness, Dr.Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, delineated the fourth objective: “A Society Aware of the Risks of Corruption and Capable of Combating it.” Besides providing an overview of the stages NACS underwent from preparation to launching, Dr.Khaled Saed, Under Secretary of the Administrative Control Authority, concluded the discussion by outlining the fifth objective “Effective Regional and International Anti-Corruption Cooperation.”
