Combating corruption is heavily intertwined with Egypt’s vision towards safeguarding development efforts. Hence, the Administrative Control Authority, in cooperation with law enforcement agencies; ministries; governorates; educational institutions; private sector; and civil society, has laid down the roadmap to prepare , implement, and follow up the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (NACS). Over the course of eight years, stakeholders immersed themselves in implementing the Strategy, with the National Coordinating Committee for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption (NSCCPCC), streamlining these national endeavors starting Phase I (2014-2018), through Phase III (2019-222); till Phase III (2023-2030).
