Minister Hassan Abdel Shafi Ahmed, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, met with Mr. Muhannad Hijazi, Chairman of the Joradnian Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission. This comes as a part of the series of meetings on the sidelines of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The meeting touched on future cooperation between the two sides in issues of common interest, such as preventing and combating corruption; raising awareness of the hazards of corruption; and sharing anti-corruption knowledge and expertise; and promoting training on modern detection methods for corruption offenses and financial investigations in cooperation with ACA’s National Anti-Corruption Academy.
At the end of their meeting, the two sides agreed on signing a memorandum of understanding to further enhance the training on preventing and combating corruption
