H.E. Minister Hassan Abdel Shafi Ahmed, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, and Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim, President of the Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority (NAZAHA), met today on the sidelines of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption in Sharm El Sheikh.
The meeting touched on future cooperation between the two sides in preventing and combating corruption; raising awareness of the hazards of corruption; exchanging anti-corruption knowledge and expertise; and promoting training in the fields of common interest.
At the end of the meeting, the Kuwaiti delegation visited the pavilion of the Administrative Control Authority at the conference headquarters in Sharm El-Sheikh, as they were introduced to ACA’s efforts raise awareness of the dangers of corruption, as well as the various training activities provided by ACA-affiliated academy, the National Anti-Corruption Academy.
