H.E. Minister Hassan Abdel Shafi Ahmed, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, and Mr. Artur Davtyan, the Armenian Prosecutor General, met today in the presence of the Ambassador of Armenia in Cairo, as part of the meeting held on the sidelines of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption in Sharm El Sheikh,
The meeting touched on future cooperation between the two sides in issues of mutual interest, such as preventing and combating corruption; raising awareness of the hazards of corruption; exchanging anti-corruption knowledge and expertise;and promoting training in the fields of common interest.
Abdel Shafi and Davtyan agreed on enhancing bilateral cooperation between the Administrative Control Authority and the Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center in Armenia through mutual cooperation agreements.
