Good morning,

It is my pleasure to welcome you all to Sharm El-Sheikh, the city of peace. Welcome to your second country, Egypt.

I would also like to thank you all for the precious trust you’ve given me by electing me the President of the Convention on its ninth session. I would also like to take this chance to thank H.E. Mr. Harib Al Amimi, President of State Audit Institution of the United Arab Emirates for his guidance during the preparations of this Session.

This convention is a main platform for all of us to exchange experiences and knowledge to better safeguard our countries’ assets. This Conference further attests to our endeavors towards building back better for our people who entrusted us to this responsibility. 

I welcome you all once more on the land of Egypt hoping that we give our communities all that we can for a better future. I wish you all luck and success with this Conference and its much-needed resolutions that we expect will successfully fulfill the substantial responsibility we shoulder, especially during emergencies and times of crisis, to provide a decent, prosperous life for our people.
