The Administrative Control Authority (ACA) is participating in the 53rd edition of the Cairo International Book Fair themed “Egypt's identity, culture and the question of future.”
The first-time participation of the ACA through its pavilion will witness a number of events and publications featuring the Authority's awareness campaigns and its public-engagement efforts to promote the values of integrity and transparency, for the Fair represents a propitious opportunity to ensure the delivery of Egypt's anti-corruption strides to a wide ranger of citizens from across Egypt.
Besides showcasing the Government’s efforts in preventing and combating corruption, ACA’s pavilion will touch on the Authority's contributions to promote investment and export and support investment-related national capacities. Moreover, the pavilion will shed light on Egypt’s information infrastructure projects, while elucidating the role of international cooperation in preventing and combating corruption. Publications on national and international anti-corruption activities will also be circulated amongst the visitors.
There shall be a designated section for the Egyptian Anti-Corruption Academy (EACA), where its academic and training programs, registration requirements, relevant scientific theses and research, and the Research Center magazine “Conscience of the Nation” will be made available to the public.
The National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) will make a much-anticipated contribution showcasing the Institute's publications, namely codes of professional conduct, governance and competitiveness and corruption perception indicators, and the “Be an Ambassador” intitative to foster national competencies in sustainable development.
The ACA strives to mobilize national efforts towards effectuating its core campaign that posits a nation “On the Same Team”. Therefore, the pavilion is conducting a public survey to solicit the visitors’ opinions on the efforts to prevent and combat corruption and leverage their proposals to optimize anti-corruption strategies.
