H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egypt’s Prime Minister, inaugurated the 53rd edition of the Cairo International Book Fair, held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. During the opening, H.E. Madbouly visited the Administrative Control Authority’s pavilion in the presence of H.E. Minister Hassan Abdel Shafi Ahmed, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority.
 
The Prime Minister was accompanied by ministers, senior state officials, the Algerian Minister of Culture, and media representatives, as the youth of Egyptian universities who previously participated in the simulation conference of the ninth session of the Conference of State Parties (COSP9), presented the sections of the pavilion; the publications made available to the visitors, and the events held by ACA’s National Anti-Corruption Academy (NACA) on the occasion of its participation in the Fair.

 

The Prime Minister concluded his tour of ACA’s pavilion by reviewing the poll measuring citizens’ awareness and perception of the Government’s efforts in preventing and combating corruption. In his written note in the ACA’s visit book, H.E. Madbouly commended the Authority's participation in the Fair and stressed the importance of promoting the values of integrity and transparency in society, adding that he is looking forward to seeing more efforts being exerted towards preventing and combating corruption.
