H.E. Minister Hassan Abdel Shafi Ahmed, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, emphasized that the ACA is keen to take part in the 53rd edition of the Cairo International Book Fair for the first time. This comes in light of the Authority’s plan to raise awareness of the hazards of corruption and to promulgate the values of integrity and transparency across a broad spectrum of society.
H.E. Abdel Shafi stressed that the ACA’s participation in the Book Fair is not limited to highlighting the achievements made in the field of combating and preventing corruption, rather it extends to initiating a conversation on this issue with the visitors through two symposiums organized by the Authority’s National Anti-Corruption Academy. H.E. also underscored the ACA’s genuine interest in communicating with the public, as the Authority's pavilion conducts an opinion survey on the ongoing anti-corruption efforts to be taken into account while formulating new strategies to combat corruption.
The Minister's statements came during the opening of the Administrative Control Authority's pavilion during the 53rd edition of the Cairo International Book Fair.
