The Administrative Control Authority launches its first-ever public symposium under the slogan “Participate.. Converse.. Engage” at the 53rd edition of the Cairo International Book Fair.

As ACA embraces the doctrine of public engagement in anti-corruption efforts through the promulgation of the values of integrity and transparency, the Main Hall of the Cairo International Book Fair will host at 6 pm on Monday, January 31, 2022, a seminar entitled “Towards the New Republic: The Egyptian State’s Strategy for Preventing and Preventing Corruption”. The session is run by the National Anti-Corruption Academy (NACA) and will discuss recent developments in anti-corruption mechanisms and the strategic vision that propels the state’s pertinent goals forward. In addition, the symposium shall underscore the role of the National Anti-Corruption Academy in developing the Egyptian youth, in the presence of a number of experts and stakeholders.

It is noteworthy that the Egyptian Government successfully obtained 60.29% of the targets set for the second phase of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2019-2022, which was launched by H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the African Economic Conference held in Sharm El-Sheikh, following the Government's success in implementing the objectives of the Strategy's first phase 2014-2018.

This symposium asserts the Government's commitment to effective governance and transparency in highlighting both achievements and challenges across all fields, whilst allowing for constructive input and feedback from different stakeholders, including citizens, institutional specialists, and civil society organizations.
