The election of Minister Hassan Abdel Shafi Ahmed, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, as president of the ninth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, held in Sharm El-Sheikh.

The Chairman of Administrative Control Authority received the "hammer", which is a symbolic purpose of the conference, from the Chairman of the previous session, Dr. Hareb Saeed Al-Amimi, President of the State Audit Bureau of the United Arab Emirates.
